Emergency Fund
What it is
Cash reserves — usually 3–6 months of essential expenses — held in a high-yield savings account for genuine emergencies.
What it really means
The single most anti-fragile thing in personal finance. Everything gets easier when this exists. Everything gets harder when it doesn't.
